2010 RC Soaring National Championships

A fantastic three days of flying fun was had by all. The weather really was brilliant and we would be hard pressed to have had better conditions anytime this year! an untimely harddisk crash has robbed me of the individual class details and scoring spreadsheets, but attached is the normalised summary of scores across all classes in the Victor Ludorum table.

For those web challenged folks out there.... :) Remember that your browser may open an image that has been zoomed to fit you browser window which makes it difficult to read. You may have to zoom in to make it legible. Alternatively right click on the table and select "Save target/link to...", save it on your hard drive and open with your favourite picture viewer. If you still have problems, email me and I'll send you a PDF version.

Unfortunately for all the other clubs out there, GEMS has already wrapped up the club title with a perfect 5000 score (actually at the previous event already)..... :) but the individual race is still on for top honours and with the past history of the final Triathlon event in Heidelberg we may still see some swings and roundabouts in the top couple of spots.

HTL# 6 - GEMS - Scores

Finally got around to posting the scores. Work has a nasty habit of getting in the way when you least want it to.....

Hope you all enjoyed the relaxed format. Based on the feedback we got the format of the competition was well received, so we'll definitely be doing at least one (possibly more) of these next year.

Well done to Alan for taking first, albeit by one point :) and then also placing 13th flying a DLG!

The league standings will also be posted shortly. It is getting interesting in the top 10 with a couple of shuffles since the last update after the first throwaway has kicked in..... Watch this space!

Cheers,
Izak
