The Groen Goud Glider Club will be hosting a electric glider day from 09h00 until sunset/batteries flat on Sunday, 20 July 2008. Based just west of Centurion, the Groen Goud field is located on a vast sod (grass) farm & is surely one of finest gliding fields available in SA.
Any electric glider will do with no competition. Just a fun & relaxing day to bring family & picnic baskets along to share with like minded enthusiasts. I understand that some participation from full size gliders has also been arranged - so this promises to be a very interesting day.
